Locust bean gum is a versatile and nutritious product made from the seeds of the Ceratonia siliqua tree, cultivated mainly in Mediterranean regions. It is a natural thickener low in fat, rich in carbohydrates and natural sugars and has a good percentage of protein. Due to its thickening function, it is mainly used in the preparation of desserts, also as a substitute for persimmon since, unlike the latter, it contains no trace of caffeine. It can also be added to traditional flour to create special doughs for bread and fresh pasta.

Our Carruba is sold in a recycled and recyclable aluminium tin with a green bio-plastic bag made from sugar cane, 100% plastic free.

Slipevo is a product line that allows you to thicken food preparations by obtaining structures with unique characteristics.
