It consists of our exclusive and unique blend of natural plant-based antioxidants that stabilise the colour and texture of ingredients such as fruit and vegetables. It is an innovative product with a dual function: to preserve the colour of raw materials susceptible to oxidation and to protect the structure and texture of ingredients, both raw and when cooked. Ideal for maintaining the crispness and freshness of our vegetables even days after cutting, and for preserving their structure during cooking, such as in a baked apple dessert.
Our Colorform is sold in a recycled and recyclable aluminium tin, with a green bioplastic bag made from sugar cane, 100% plastic-free.
Antioxidant
Dilute directly in water and soak the desired produce in the solution for at least 2 minutes; this protects both the colour and texture of the vegetables.
The quantity varies depending on the desired effect:
– antioxidant: 20 g/l;
– fortifying: 40 g/l.
Calcium ascorbate (E302) and ascorbic acid (E300).
The product is free from chemicals, additives or preservatives, making it a pure and safe product for food use.
Allergen-free
It contains no traces of gluten, lactose, nuts or other common allergens, ensuring it is safe even for those with food intolerances.
It has a slightly acidic taste, not a neutral one; you should not exceed the recommended doses and, in the case of a soaking bath, it is advisable to rinse off the treated ingredients.
