Isomalt is a type of sugar produced by hydrogenating beet starch. It is a versatile ingredient widely used in the world of confectionery thanks to its unique properties: unlike traditional sugar, it has a lower sweetening power, with approximately 45–65 per cent of the sweetness of sucrose, and is particularly prized for its excellent resistance to moisture and its crystalline transparency. These characteristics make it ideal for creating decorations that require clarity and stability, such as sugar gems, transparent drops and glass-like effects. Isomalt does not crystallise easily, which allows confectioners to work with it at high temperatures to mould it into complex and detailed shapes such as flowers, animals or small sculptures.

Our Isomalto is sold in a recycled and recyclable aluminium tin, with a green bioplastic bag made from sugar cane, 100% plastic-free.

HOW TO USE

Decorating
Ideal for creating decorations and other artistic creations with sugar, thanks to its resistance to moisture and crystal-clear transparency. The method of use varies depending on the recipe being used.

DOSAGE

Quantity varies; we recommend using as required or according to the recipe you are following.

Isomalt (E953).

The product is free from chemicals, additives or preservatives, making it a pure and safe product for food use.

Allergen-free
It contains no traces of gluten, lactose, nuts or other common allergens, ensuring it is safe even for those with food intolerances.

Highly sensitive to moisture: ensure that the packaging is always sealed properly. It is also advisable to prevent the mixture from turning brown.
The product is safe for food use and has no contraindications. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat sources.
